Statement

I’m in constant search for an identity of my own on my work. I’m highly influenced by the lifestyle, colours and forms of my hometown: Rio de Janeiro

Biography

I am graphic designer and illustrator. It's with pen and paper that I begin my creations: I start scribbling on a paper, even if it's a napkin in a bar. The first scribble is never good, but then I suspect that this might be the idea, that my line is a little naïve. My work is all about fashion, editorial, branding and I absolutely adore pattern design.

I've always been passionate about fashion and textile design, that's why I became interested by pattern designs. What amazes me the most is the duality between complete freedom when creating and then turn this mess into a quasi-mathematical result of repeated patterns in sequence.

SIREN Baroque kicks off its third season with Fyer, Fyer!, the first of four concerts exploring the ancient elements, in a special collaboration with the innovative baroque dancers Laura Careless and Marisol Cabrera. The program features blazingly passionate works by Morley, Monteverdi, Rebel, Scarlatti, and Handel, all of which use fire as a metaphor for nature’s wrath, spiritual zeal, lustful ardor, or the terrors of hell. With SIREN Baroque’s “impassioned performances” (Early Music America) accompanied by strikingly seductive choreography, it promises to be an evening to ignite the senses.
